Banarasi sarees, unstitched suit pieces, fabrics by the metre and dupattas, all woven in Banaras and chosen with care.

Our story began in 1955, when two brothers, a rented room and a deep respect for Banarasi weaving set our family on this path. Three generations later, one belief still guides us: you should always know exactly what you are buying.

Every Banarasiya piece is powerloom (machine-woven). This applies across all our categories: sarees, suits, dupattas and fabrics. We say it plainly because honesty matters more to us than a prettier label.

Our designs and weaves come from Banaras, and we are always upfront about what each piece is, including how it is made. If you'd like to know more about a particular piece before you buy, message us on WhatsApp and we'll gladly tell you.

You can shop on our website, or visit our store in Ravindrapuri, Varanasi, where we'd love to show you the pieces in person. There is something about touching silk that a screen can never capture.

• Suits: 2.5 metres each (shirt and bottom)
• Blouse fabrics (thans): 1 metre

Yes, every Banarasiya saree comes with a blouse piece.

Yes, the products and fabrics are exactly as shown on our website. Colours can look slightly different on different screens, because silk catches light in ways pixels can't. If you'd like to be sure of a shade before you order, write to us on WhatsApp and we'll help.

Yes. We offer:

• Fall and pico
• Tassel additions
• Made-to-measure blouses and blouse stitching
• Create-your-own design (bulk and wholesale orders only)

Send us your design references and measurements and we'll take it from there. For details, write to info@banarasiya.in or call/WhatsApp +91 7310370707. Customised and made-to-order pieces, and fabric cut from the thaan, cannot be returned or exchanged, because they are made for you alone.

Yes, shipping is free across India on all products.

Please allow 5 to 7 working days for order processing and dispatch, unless the product page says otherwise. Delivery time after dispatch depends on your location. Share your pincode with us and we'll give you a clearer timeline.

Need it urgently? Let us know and we can arrange faster delivery for a nominal shipping fee.

Once your order is dispatched, we'll send you a shipping confirmation with tracking details by email and WhatsApp.

Yes, we ship worldwide.

• International orders carry a flat shipping charge of ₹3,000 per product.
• Import duties, customs charges, taxes and any other fees levied by the destination country are paid by the customer. They are not included in our product prices or shipping charges.

Only if you receive an incorrect product or one with a manufacturing defect. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for any other reason.

• Report the issue to us within 7 days of receiving your order.
• The product must be unused, unwashed and in its original condition.
• Original tags and packaging must be intact, wherever applicable.

We're sorry if that happens. Send us clear photos along with your order number, within 7 days of delivery, and our team will review it and help you with an appropriate resolution. You can also raise a request through “Place a Return/Exchange Request” on our website.

Customised products, made-to-order pieces and fabric cut from the thaan are not eligible for general returns or exchanges. If any of these arrive incorrect or defective, please tell our team and we'll review it.

Small variations in weave, texture, colour or finish may occur and are not manufacturing defects.

We do not offer refunds or credit notes for change-of-mind purchases, or for reasons outside the return criteria above. If you receive an incorrect or defective piece, our team will review your concern and assist with a suitable resolution in line with applicable consumer protection laws.

If you receive an incorrect or defective product and would like an exchange, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Requests made after this period may not be accepted, subject to applicable law. All exchanges are subject to verification and approval by our team.

Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer, except where the law requires otherwise. We suggest using a reliable, trackable courier and taking shipping insurance where appropriate. Banarasiya is not responsible for loss or damage in transit when the return shipment has been arranged by the customer.
